HAN member Kaiser Permanente is partnering with Project Equity and Obran Cooperative to educate their supply chain vendors about, and support their transitioning to, an employee ownership model. Hawaii-based Courier Corporation, a transportation and delivery company with 153 employees who are predominantly Native Hawaiians, is the first company to switch to employee ownership.

HAN member Baystate Health worked with the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts with help from a grant from the Aspen Foundation to form the Western Massachusetts Anchor Collaborative.
