HAN members SSM Health and BJC HealthCare recently broke ground on St. Louis Healthcare Support Services, a new regional laundry facility in the Soulard neighborhood.
The facility will process 35 million pounds of linens for the health systems each year, using a newly refurbished warehouse owned by BJC HealthCare. In addition to providing essential services, the facility will stimulate economic development and create new jobs in under-resourced communities within St. Louis City.
