| The Health Anchors Learning Network (HALN) is a UK-wide network taking the first step to create an action-oriented, inclusive, and informative network to adopt and apply anchor strategies in order to improve the SDOH and reduce inequalities. HALN will “help [National Health Services] NHS organisations to maximise their ‘anchor role’ in local economies to improve the wellbeing of the populations they serve in its role as an employer, purchaser, land and property owner and partner in place.” HAN spoke with our UK partners about our network and anchor mission approach to provide grounding and guidance leading up to the launch of this network, and are thrilled to see HALN further the anchor mission approach in the UK through this launch. |
