There is no one “right” pathway for careers in healthcare. People embark on their own journeys, based on many factors, including level of education, skills, opportunities, and level of knowledge of those opportunities. Quite often in large healthcare systems, career opportunities are hidden and both employees and those on the outside are unfamiliar with the hundreds of job categories that are available. This toolkit of career pathway resources begins to shed light on these opportunities and allows healthcare systems to utilize these tools to help employees find those careers and enable them to embark on their career journeys.
