Gartner’s ranking: Forty percent of the ranking is quantitative data comprising Quality of Patient Care, Bond Rating and — for the first time — Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) metrics that evaluate an organization’s social impact efforts. A health system’s ESG score is based on a combination of whether a health system is a HAN member, has submitted impact purchasing data collection and has signed the HAN Impact Purchasing Commitment.
