Sarah Chartier is a passionate system change expert with 10 years of corporate sustainability experience. She is an experienced program manager in the healthcare industry, having built a supplier diversity program for a supply chain department. As an independent consultant since 2022, Sarah has provided sustainability and supplier diversity consultation to organizations and educational tools for food-based organizations to advocate for climate, food justice, equity and government policies. Sarah has a history of successful program execution, strategy and project planning, and has integrated sustainability and supplier diversity into operational and support services, such as supply chain, facilities and food services.
Sarah has a master’s in business administration, is an experienced project manager, and has extensive facilitation and public speaking skills. She has given a TEDx speech, emceed events, and has been featured in promotional videos and local television interviews. Sarah has volunteered on multiple non-profit boards, including as board president, and was recognized as a “Notable Leader in Sustainability” by Crain’s Detroit Business in 2022. In her free time, Sarah volunteers her organizational, administrative and strategic support to friends and small businesses in need and has recently joined her local mutual aid network.
