SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, RESEARCH
Melissa Richmond joined the Healthcare Anchor Network in 2023 as a Senior Program Manager to support the organization in its research functions and content development.
Throughout her career, Melissa has worked closely with non-profits, foundations, and the public sector to advance positive social change across a range of issue areas, including economic security, family support, education, and early childhood. She spent the last 16 years at the OMNI Institute where she led and oversaw teams to design and implement high-quality research and evaluation projects ranging from formative evaluations to experimental studies. Before joining OMNI, Melissa served as key personnel on a grant from the National Institute of Mental Health examining longitudinal associations between the quality of family relationships and children’s well-being.
Melissa has published findings in scientific journals such as Child Youth Care Forum, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Research on Social Work Practice, Substance Abuse, and Journal of Family Psychology. Melissa received her doctorate in Developmental Psychology from the University of Denver with an emphasis on quantitative methods.
