Replacing exclusion with inclusion

Replacing exclusion with inclusion

bpham · Dec 18, 2023 ·

HAN members BJC HealthCare and SSM Health are playing important roles in Delmar DivINe, a place and space in St. Louis, MO for nonprofit tenants, co-working space, and community services, including the St. Louis Community Credit Union (a partner with BJC HealthCare and MFH), GreaterHealth Pharmacy, an SSM Express Urgent Care Clinic, and an Edward Jones office.

The campus also has 150 apartments, with about 15% slated as low income units. Delmar DivINe was built from the former St. Luke’s Hospital that was vacant for a decade and now houses over 200 people and 500 workers.

From the KSDK NBC5 article:

The St. Louis Community Credit Union was our first signed tenant. This majority-Black-owned credit union is a partner with BJC HealthCare and MFH, and they opened an office in our building to serve the neighborhood. They are already doing car loans, home improvement loans and small business loans in the neighborhood. [Maxine Clark, local entrepreneur and philanthropist who dreamed and developed Delmar DivINe].
