Sylvia L. Daniels Ray is the Senior Manager of Impact Purchasing for the Healthcare Anchor Network, where she leads the Impact Purchasing pillar strategy and Impact Purchasing Commitment, driven by a passion for creating meaningful economic impact in communities.
Sylvia is a leader in community wealth-building programs, leading local, national, and global initiatives. Before joining the Healthcare Anchor Network, she led supplier diversity and development strategies for Henry Ford Health, Cardinal Health as a Prime Supplier partner to Kaiser Permanente, and lululemon athletica—where she led the strategy and implementation of their Supplier Inclusion & Diversity program in North America. At the heart of her work is a deep commitment to empowering diverse and small businesses, creating sustainable jobs, and strengthening economic health and well-being.
Sylvia’s leadership has earned recognition from industry leaders and organizations, including Cardinal Health, Kaiser Permanente, the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Michigan Minority Business Development Council, the Great Lakes Women’s Business Enterprise Council, the Western Region Minority Supplier Development Council, CORP! and Henry Ford Health. Sylvia is also the Founder and CEO of InspireHER Community Development Corporation (InspireHER CDC).
