Manager, Experiential Events
Marcelle is the Experiential Events Manager for the Healthcare Anchor Network where she leads the programming design and logistics for the Annual Convening as well as other ancillary impact events for the organization throughout the year.
Prior to joining HAN, Marcelle transitioned from producing Experiential Marketing Events for the largest brands in pop culture to curating Interactive Education platforms of empowerment for society’s most marginalized. In her advocacy and youth development work to date, she has used multimedia to create a voice and choice platform for youth, which has garnered 3 NY Emmy® Award Wins and 12 NY Emmy® nominations. As Executive Producer of NY Emmy Nominated documentaries like “What Happened to Black Wallstreet” and music productions like “Work Hard”, Marcelle curated creative platforms for youth of color to develop economic empowerment and amplify their voice through social activism. She has also studied and traveled throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the Caribbean in her quest to empower youth and bridge the financial literacy gap on a global level. As the Founder & CEO of Girls With Knowledge, Inc., and GWK Global, Marcelle will continue to impact at-risk youth around the world through advocating for opportunities and developing creative platforms by which they can learn, grow and literally change the path of their life in a powerful way. She is the SheMedia Community Trailblazer Honoree & the BlogHer recipient of the 2019 Voices of the Year Award, Obvious Magazine’s “20/20 Visionaries to Watch” and has been identified by Schneps Media as a 2022 Power Women of Queens.
