Healthcare Anchor Network (HAN) and the National Partnership for Women & Families (NPWF) produced Ochsner Health: Piloting a Community Health Worker position to support rural maternal health patients. Ochsner Health was a member of the HAN & NPWF Maternal Health Workforce Cohort and the case study covers how the Cohort helped the health system demonstrate the need for the new role and integrate a CHW into its rural health clinic.
